1.1

GENERAL: For the purpose of this contract hereafter Doodlesquid shall be described as the “Supplier” and the entity placing an order shall be described as the “Customer”.
1.2
There can be no variance to these Terms & Conditions of business (the Contract) whatsoever unless varied by written documentation and signed by an authorised signatory of the Supplier.
1.3
The placing of an order by a Customer shall be deemed acceptance of these terms in their entirety. Any subsequent verbal order will be bound by these terms.
1.4
It is the customers responsibility to check the accuracy of the information on the order form.
1.5
It is the customers responsibility to provide accurate information whether its related to the order or the design of the product. Failure in doing so can result in products which are unsatisfactory for end use and is clearly understood.
1.6
PRICES: All prices quoted on the website are subject to change.
1.7
Unless varied in writing, all prices are quoted exclusive of carriage charges and for specific quantities.
1.8
The Supplier reserves the right to impose a minimum order value for free delivery.
1.9
Once this contract is formed, customers shall not be able to cancel the order, should production already be commenced. However it is in our discretion to cancel the contract and should we be able to, we shall charge for any material costs and or admin fees.

2.0
DELIVERY: All dates given by the supplier for delivery are estimated dates only and therefore the supplier shall incur no liability for any loss or damage whatsoever as a result of a failure to adhere to any such dates.
2.1
The supplier shall be entitled to make partial deliveries, invoice for goods delivered and expect payment in accordance with their terms of payment.
2.2
Acceptance by a carrier on behalf of the customer shall constitute delivery of goods and insurance risk liability shall pass to the customer at this point.
2.3
The customer is obliged to accept delivery of goods. Where-re-delivery is required, the supplier reserves the right to pass any additional charges to the customer.
2.4
It is the customers responsibility to inform the supplier of any short or damaged goods. Notice of such items must be given in writing to service@doodlesquid.com as soon as possible. Returns will not be refundable 14 days from purchase.
2.5
All deliveries are made subject to the carrier’s standard terms and conditions. A copy of which is available on request from the supplier. The supplier reserves the right to change, without notice, the carrier it uses.


 


2.6
TERMS OF PAYMENT: Non payment of any goods and or services will be requested in writing. We expect matters to be resolved asap within 7 days.
 


2.7
RIGHT OF OWNERSHIP TERMS : All work remains the right of Doodlesquid. We reserve the right to use pictures in our marketing and we also reserve the right to remove work where work has not been paid. Artwork remain's the ownership of Doodlesquid unless otherwise stated. Artwork rights remain with the customer when the artwork has been sent to us.

 


2.8
In the event of the supplier having any indication of the customer being unable to settle the account as and when they fall due, not withstanding any other remedies, all amounts due to the supplier shall become payable in full immediately. In addition, the supplier reserves the right to uplift goods supplied to mitigate amounts due to it and shall assess such goods and credit such values as it deems reasonable.

2.9
Any request by the customer to put a hold on an order, or where delays of more than ten days are caused by the customer, for example late/non payment of invoices, the supplier regardless of other remedies shall as its discretion be entitled to claim from the customer costs for materials specifically ordered to fulfil the order.

3.0
WARRANTY AND LIABILITY:  The supplier warrants that all goods supplied are to the best of their knowledge fit for the purpose as described and are free of any defects due to materials and or workmanship.
3.1
suppliers total liability howsoever incurred in relation to this contract shall be limited to the total fee’s payable by the customer.The method of settlement of any claim is at the discretion of the supplier.
3.2
The supplier will use his best endeavours to produce final products to the same specification as proofs or samples, however no guarantee is expressed or implied.
3.3
The supplier at all times reserves the right not withstanding any other remedies available to it, to refuse to supply and/or suspend further deliveries and/or stop goods in transit or fulfil any other obligations under this contract.
3.4
The supplier shall not be liable to the customer for any loss of goodwill, reputation or any indirect or consequential loss.
3.5

 

RETURNS & REFUNDS

 

We take every care to ensure your products are sent in perfect condition. If for any reason your item is in a condition deemed unsuitable or is damaged in transit, please contact us immediately and we will advise on a refund or a replacement.

 

REPORT

 

Any issues with your Doodlesquid  order, please contact us immediately through the contact form. We will need your order number, other details and a description of the issue.

We may need you to take a photo/video of the issue in order for us to investigate what has occurred and to ensure we resolve any future problems from occurring. We want to ensure you are happy with your order everytime!

 

PERSONALISED PRODUCTS

 

Where an item is faulty, we will ask you to return it to us within five days of receipt.

If you are eligible for a refund, we will reimburse the price you have paid for the product(s) onto the credit or debit card with which you have paid. Alternatively, we may offer to reprint (if applicable) and resend the item free of charge. Please note it is not our policy to offer both a refund and a resend.

Please note that Refunds cannot be provided if the fault is a result of your own actions such:

  • Products being misused
  • If personalisation is mis-spelt
  • If you have uploaded a low resolution image
  • If the size you have ordered is the wrong size.
  • Any other issue related to personalisation such the wrong colours being chosen.

 

It is important that we are contacted as soon as possible regarding issues with your order or the product(s) you have ordered. We need to be informed of any issues within five  days of the delivery to give us the best chance of successfully resolving the issue.

Note that the right to cancel a contract and return a product does not apply to products which are personalised.

 


LIABILITY: The supplier shall not be held responsible to the customer and therefore has no liability to the customer whatsoever for a non-performance whatsoever in whole or part of its obligations as conferred under the terms of this contract for any reason or cause beyond its control. Such reasons shall include (but not inclusively) strikes, lockouts, disruptions of power, transport, materials or fuel supplies, act of war and civil disturbances.
3.6
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY: Provided any design/artwork has been paid for remains the right of the customer apart from images and or logos which are freehold. By producing your artwork to us, you authorise us to use it, publish it, alter, edit and change it. Indemnity of copyright and keeps indemnify Doodlesquid for any loss or liability caused by any third party claim or infringement of such parties rights in or such artwork.

COOKIES: As with many websites today, by using our website you consent to cookies being installed.
These are small files installed on your computer. This will help you in cases such as if your half way through designing a project or, remembering certain information which would help you when you come back on the site.
